What To Expect
When you call the  Mission Center Family Wellness Center to make an appointment, you will be asked basic questions about your name, address, contact, etc. You'll also be asked your reason for seeking help, i.e. depression, anxiety, marriage counseling, family counseling, anger management, abuse, Bipolar, ADHD,  etc. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to voice them at this time. Then an appointment will be set that meet your therapeutic needs.

At your request, a photo of your assigned therapist can be sent prior to his or her arrival at the scheduled session. You will immediately note the many benefits of In-Home counseling sessions; No transportation worries on your part, and no length of stay in a waiting room. Upon arrival at your home, apartment, office,  or other designated meeting place, you will be given a brief overview of Mission City Family Wellness Center and any concerns you may have will be fully addressed.

Sessions are approximately 50 -90 minutes long. The therapist will discuss your concerns and issues in a supportive, non-judgmental manner and guide you toward developing your own solutions.

Cost per session and frequency of visits (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) will be established at the first session. Private funding has allowed Mission City FWC to keep out-of-pocket costs very low and affordable to all in need of counseling services.

* Please keep your appointment as scheduled. Due to the volume of clients and counselor availability, it is important to call 24 hrs in advance and cancel if you cannot make your appointment.
